Web Analytics

What is web analytics?

Analytics allow you to "learn more about where your visitors come from and how they interact with your site. ... Get the information you need to write better ads, strengthen your marketing initiatives, and create higher-converting websites." – Google

One of the greatest aspects of having a website is the ability to track how your visitors behave - how the get to your site, what they do once they get there, and where and when they leave. This knowledge, when interpreted correctly, gives website owners the opportunity to optimize their websites. By "optimize" we mean making changes that increases the effectiveness of a website - whether making purchasing easier, making simple changes to html in order to make webpages appear properly in search engines, and much more.

We offer a variety of analytics services - from simple to complex. Choose the right service based on your needs:

Site Optimization - "Web Tune-up"

We'll review the pages and content of your site and make simple changes to your html/css that will ensure your website looks and runs smoothly. In other words, search engines will "see" your site the way it's meant to be seen - and visitors will find them faster. Ultimately, a site tune-up will mean that your page rank rises significantly over time. This is an important long-term step in improving page-rank. Used along or in conjunction with adwords, you'll improve traffic and site rank for a one-time fee.

Google Analytics - "Web Jump Start"

Google Analytics is a suite of powerful tools that will allow you to track visitors, manage advertising (both on and off-line campaigns), set sales goals, and a lot more. Google Analytics makes it simple to understand how effective your campaigns are, make the right decisions about advertising, track and generate leads/sales, and more. Google Analytics is a necessity for online commerce sites. While the service is free, setting it up and configuring it isn't easy or intuitive. We'll walk you through it, configure it to meet your needs and set up goals specific to your kind of site. Google Analytics is a powerful set of tools, but not every website needs them. We offer simpler solutions, too.

Web Tracking

We don't have a car analogy for this one. Web tracking is a form of web analytics, but not as advanced, powerful or confusing as Google Analytics. It's great if you just want to analyze where your visitors are coming from, see how many hits you've gotten, and find out how long people stay on your site. For more detailed reports, Google Analytics is a better solution.
